DISCOVER THE NEW OMEGA SEAMASTER DIVER 300M EDITION 007

James Bond is one of the most iconic film characters in the world and there’s no surprise that many watch brands have tried to get their watches on his wrist. Omega first got James Bond to wear an Omega watch back in 1995 in the film Goldeneye.
Since then there have been many more films and watches and today we’re looking at the new OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300m 007 Edition featured in the latest film, No Time To Die.

A NEW WATCH FOR JAMES BOND

Seamaster Diver 300m 007 Edition

Seamaster Diver 300m 007 Edition is very different to all the others making it a unique watch among the large Omega line up. The 42mm case makes it a large watch, but thanks to the sleek mesh bracelet, it wears more like a 40-41mm watch. Both the watch and bracelet are made out of Titanium, which is 45% lighter than steel but just as strong as steel.

This allows you to wear your watch all day every day and it’ll show minimum signs of wear and tear. The advantage of the mesh bracelet over the classic Seamaster bracelet is that the mesh will hide scratches better and hugs the wrist perfectly as it has many more links compared to the classic bracelet.

THE SPECIAL FEATURE OF THE OMEGA SEAMASTER DIVER 300 EDITION 007

James Bond Watch "No Time to Die"

The dial features a smoky black and brown colour which matches the luminated aluminium bezel giving it a vintage feel but with the durability and reliability of modern watches. This contrasts the hour markers which gave a beautiful patina colour to them. The sapphire crystal gives it that extra bit of durability as it is very scratch resistant.

The Crystal is coated with Anti-reflective material to enable the best legibility of your watch no matter what lighting or situation you may find yourself in. Another cool unique feature for the No Time To Die Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition is the British Military symbol on the dial, the broad arrow.

This symbol means its property of the British military and has been used in service, however since it’s not patented Omega can use it. It gives it that extra touch of detail that makes a strong connection to the British MI6 agent, James Bond.

A RESISTANCE TON ANY TEST

Despite the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition being a luxury watch, make no mistake, it is a very capable watch that has been tested to extremes to ensure you can wear it no matter what sporty event you might be doing

The movement inside the masterpiece is the Co- Axial Master Chronometer 8806 which is METAS certified. Very few watches are METAS certified because the level of testing done to the watch is so tough, most watches just are not built to withstand the tests.

However, Omega made sure that the Seamaster would hold up just fine, a perfect watch for James Bond to be wearing as he pulls off many dangerous stunts and puts the Seamaster through its paces.
